Aquafinesse
The differences between ecoONE and Aquafinesse are as follows.. 1. Unlike Aquafinesse, ecoONE contains no NO CHLORINE.
The 24/7 water disinfection is provided by the natural ecoONE enzymes in
conjunction with a low level of Bromine. Bromine is proven to be a more
effective sanitizer than chlorine at lower concentrations and is also effective
over a wider range of pH values. Bromine is also significantly less irritating
than Chlorine. 2. Test strips are provided with the ecoONE kits, enabling you to check your water balance and sanitizer level weekly so you can be sure that your water is being continuously sanitized in accordance with the industry recognised HSE (UK Health and Safety Executive) guidelines. When using ecoONE, it is recommended that you balance your water once when you fill your tub, thereafter the ecoONE Spa Monthly should maintain that balance without the need for further adjustment. This balancing process is both simple and extremely important since no water sanitizer will work effectively if the pH or Total Alkalinity of the water is outside safe limits. The ecoONE Starter kit is provided with all the balancers that you will need. 3. Unlike Aquafinesse, ecoONE does not sequester minerals from your water and deposit them into your filters and so there is no need for frequent filter cleaning after a water change. Fortnightly or monthly filter cleaning (depending on the level of use), using the filter cleaner provided, is sufficient. The only other regular tasks needed are a weekly water dip test and a fortnightly top up of bromine tablets in the dispenser (all provided with the Starter Kit). 4. There are NO HIDDEN EXTRAS. Unlike Aquafinesse, ecoONE kits are supplied with all you need for three months spa maintenance, including shock, filter cleaner and pipe cleaner. There is no need to routinely buy any additional products. AquafinesseAquafinesse is a spa water treatment that works in a completely different way to chlorine or bromine sanitation. Aquafinesse sanitizes the spa water by removing the food source of the bacteria so that they cannot grow and multiply. This food source is called biofilm and is present on all the spa surfaces, jets and pipes. Aquafinesse also softens the spa water by breaking down and dissolving limescale build-up. Aquafinesse is a 2-part system that comprises a liquid, added to the spa water in a measured amount once per week, together with a chlorine tablet that is placed in a dispenser which should preferably be located in the hot tub filter compartment. The chlorine tablet must be replaced when it has completely dissolved, this is usually every 2-3 days, depending on the characteristics of the spa in which it is used. The liquid destroys the biofilm, coagulates bacteria and softens the water. The chlorine destroys any bacteria that manage to survive. Aquafinesse Revolutionary Hot Tub Water Treatment1 pack contains 2 x 2 litre bottles, usage instructions, slow release dispenser and filter sanitising chlorine tablets.
