AQUASPARKLE Spa pH MinusWhat is AquaSPArkle Spa pH Minus?
What is pH?pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of your water. The pH scale has a range of 0 – 14, with 7.0 being neutral. Water with a pH below 7.0 is acidic and above 7.0 is alkaline. A number of factors can affect the pH of your spa water, such as dilution with fresh water, introduction of air, chemicals and bathers, so it is important that it is checked on a regular basis. What is the optimum level of pH in hot tub water? The pH level should be maintained within the ranges shown in the following table. Why should you reduce the pH of your spa water?Hot tub water with very low pH (acidic water) can cause corrosion of your equipment and staining on the tub surfaces. It can also be very unpleasant to bath in. In addition, many sanitisers do not perform efficiently if the pH of the water is not maintained within a specified range. Directions for Use:
