Floating Spa Insulation Cover
Product Description
This 12mm thick floating heat retention cover provides the most effective additional layer of insulation for your hot tub.
It enures that heat is kept in the hot tub water and that any chemical vapour is kept away from damaging your hard cover.
Water evaporation accounts for 70% of heat loss in hot tubs and this cover, which is double the thickness of most swimming pool covers, reduces the water evaporation by up to 90%. The heat retention cover is manufactured in the UK especially for spa and hot tub use. It is used by many commercial spa operators to prevent evaporation and heat loss.
The unique design of this floating cover means that it will prolong the life of your hard top cover by preventing condensation and water-logging and protect the underside of the cover from the potentially damaging effects of chemical evaporation.
This floating cover is not heavy and can easily be removed from the spa by hand. Just roll it up and stow when you want to use your tub!
Made from a 12mm cross linked polyethylene dense foam core (weighs: 0.49kg per sq.m) protected by a laminated film over embossed outside surfaces.
The standard cover is 2m x 2m and, for maximum benefit, can be easily trimmed with sharp scissors or a knife to fit your hot tub exactly.

The cover was received in the usual timely fashion (Very quick), we installed an energy monitor when the tub was installed and after cutting the cover to shape 1-2 clearance around the perimeter we did not notice any significant savings on the energy consumed. In addition we also noticed the cover interfered with the cleaning / filtration of the water as it seemed to trap the debris. The product seemed like a good idea, unfortunately it did not work for us..

I was looking for a way of cutting the costs of heating our spa when I had an email come through showing this product, at the moment haven't cut it to size but have placed it underneath the cover and seems to be working well
