I wasn't aware at the time of purchasing a submersible pump that it would need a special hose and even after arrival and reading the booklet with the pump it was only mentioned at the back of the booklet as an optional extra!
Splash spas were very helpful when I rang them as I couldn't use the pump and sent the correct flat hose out to me the very next day with a jubilee clip. If anyone should order a pump in future Splash Spas are now aware to advise it will only operate with a flat hose.
