Hot Tub Servicing

Regular hot tub maintaince and servicing is vital to ensure the longevity of your hot tub. Splash Spas has a network of trained spa engineres across the country and we are able to service most makes and models of hot tub

You should consider servicing your hot tub once a year to keep it in top condition. A yearly service will go a long way to ensuring your hot tub will last for years to come and is great value since our fully comprehensive service starts at just £199 and we can cover most areas of England and Wales and parts of Scotland.

Hot Tub Service Specification

We give your hot tub a complete overhaul and clean, including flushing any biofilm and dirt out of the plumbing, refill with fresh water, balance and apply the sanitizer of your choice.

To take advantage of this service your tub needs to be full of water and up to temperature.

The service takes approximately 3 - 4 hours to complete.

Service Tasks
Visually check all wiring for integrity and insulation. Check plumbing including pipe and heater unions and isolation valve connections for integrity, identify any leaks present and effect any repairs necessary. Check and replace all worn or defective o-rings or gaskets. Run all pumps and ensure satisfactory operation. Operate air blower, if fitted, and check satisfactory operation. Visually check that all the air injectors are allowing air through. Check operation of diverter valves, if fitted. Check all jets for satisfactory operation – ensure they turn on & off if applicable. Check jet to shell joints for integrity and, where possible, eliminate any leaks. Check the control system and topside controls for the correct operation of each function. Remove filter(s) and perform visual check of filter condition. Supply and fit new filter (at additional charge) if required. Deep clean and sanitise the hot tub plumbing and pipe work including pump wet end and heater tube. Test lighting system. Drain all water, rinse spa thoroughly, drain again and vacuum out majority of excess water from pipe work and jet bodies. Clean shell surface, head rests and cover. Refill with clean water. Fit new or cleaned filters. Balance the Total Alkalinity and pH of the water to within the range required for the customers chosen sanitizer and add sanitizer. Check operation of all equipment from the control touch pad. Check operation of the heater and mode functions. Perform a test of the RCD if available and accessible. Wipe down the spa rim, cabinet and steps and leave area clean and tidy.

Replacement equipment, plumbing joints, jets etc. Any new parts required will be supplied at RRP and are guaranteed for 12 months. Sanitizer, although our engineer will discuss your sanitizer choices prior to the visit and deliverany products that you require free of charge, should you wish.
