What is Leisure Time Calcium Booster?

Leisure Time Calcium Booster is a liquid formula that increases water hardness, preventing foaming and equipment corrosion.  By maintaining proper hardness levels, the life of your spa will be extended.

Why should you balance the Hardness of your spa water?

Hot tub water with very low total hardness (very soft water) can cause etching to occur on the tub surfaces which will become abrasive and uncomfortable for bathers.  Rough surfaces also increase the likelihood of problems with algae growth and make cleaning more difficult.

Hardness levels should be maintained between 100 - 200mg/l (ppm). Never allow Calcium Hardness to fall below 100 mg/l.

Directions for Use:

As needed.  One ounce (55g or 2 tablespoons) raises the calcium hardness 7 ppm in 1900 litres of water.

1. Determine amount of product to be added.

2. Turn jets ON to circulate spa water.

3. Pour required amount into the water.

4. Run filter for 1 to 2 hours.

5. Retest water to ensure proper level.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 until proper level is obtained
