This product (or more likely a carrier chemical component used to form the tablets) does not work well. It causes a chalky powder to form on the surface of the water which is difficult to dissolve irrespective of whether dispensed via a floating dispenser or adding tablets directly to the water. I should add that water condition makes little difference (i.e. TA, PH and associated activator are all correctly set with fresh water and it still happens). I have used this product once last season with a similar experience and found it to be considerably inferior to the previously available alternate Baykrolar Active Oxygen system.
