These filters do exactly what they say they'll do and SplashSpas are a little cheaper than our previous supplier.

Unfortunately these filters offered too much resistance for the filter motor to contend with. Consequently the protection flap at the base of the filter housing opened causing the filter to be by-passed and rendering these particular filters useless. Attempting to force this flap shut caused cavitation of the pump, so I have had to revert to the paper style of filter.
Splash Spas Comment: These filters should only be used to replace 50sq ft filters, not the 25 sq ft filter of equivalent size. We have modified the product description to clarify that. Thank you for the feedback. - Excellent
