I have been intermittently reducing the hot tub temperature (over winter) to 17 degrees. Last year we kept it on all winter and although we used it occasionally we are this year checking electricity bills to see if a saving has been made. On reducing the temperature we always add 'shock' and on each occasion after having left it low for perhaps 6 weeks or so the water has always been crystal clear and ready for use when heated to 37 degrees (as was the case for Valentine's Day/Night).

I used to use the sachets of spa shock, bought in bulk these were better on price, but still pricey. The Spa Shock Express I find just as good and much better on the budget.

I find the 3 monthly bundle is not good value as it gives me products I don't need. I ave plenty of filter cleaner and don't use the jet cleaner here in Scotland. The water is so soft it is off the scale. I physically clean the jets and there is no build up, just little bi of leaves etc..
So a bundle with monthly treatment and shock express would be great. Maybe throw in a free aramotherapy as you once did?
I do find the ecoONE products work well for me, without problems.

As a complete rooky I was getting nowhere fast - test strips (check), chlorine (check), PH Up (check), alky up (check) it was like being back in chemistry class again. This product really sorted everything out and was quick and easy to use. Only having had the tub for a couple of months I am on one hell of a learning curve but getting there. I find Splash Spas really helpful on the phone too - nothing is too much trouble for them. Brilliant service so far and cannot complain about anything.
