Stone Mats from New Zealand

These weatherproof, durable tread mats are hand made in New Zealand.  Unique, stunning and completely weather proof, they can be used outside by your hot tub, inside or outside your sauna, in the conservatory, by your front door in your bathroom or anywhere else you fancy.  They're non-slip and so versatile you'll need at least two!

The story of these flat stones is amazing!

The stones are formed naturally, aged and weathered by New Zealands' glacial and marine geology. They start their journey in the Southern Alps, the longest and highest mountain range of New Zealand. They are formed by the glaciers and drift down some of the many rivers that flow into the Tasman Sea.  They are then carried the length of the west coast of New Zealand by the northerly drift, tumbling and polishing as they travel.  Some of these stones have travelled as far as 300kms.  Mother nature deposits small pockets of the stones on the beach where our manufacturers are fortunate to have exclusive consent to harvest them.

Any bespoke size or shape of mat can be constructed, just contact us for a quotation.  Delivery of bespoke mats, which are hand made to order in New Zealand, is only 8-12 weeks from placement of order.
