Ozone TESTING

The mere presence of bubbles from the hot tub's ozone jet, even if the ozonator appears to be on and functioning, does not indicate adequate O3 production. Research indicates that up to 60% of home spa ozonators are either producing insufficient ozone, or none at all.
This
is a simple tablet test to ensure that your ozone generator is
working correctly. Ozone levels should ideally be checked
directly after each water change (before any sanitizer is added
to the water) but certainly at least once per year.
This is how to test...
1. Locate your hot tubs ozone jet and add a small amount of spa water directly from the jet to the test tube.
2. Add one of each of the supplied tablets and crush them with the rod provided.
3. Fill test tube to the mark with sample water. Cap and gently shake until tablets dissolve.
4. Remove cap. Face a source of natural light and hold the plastic colour guide at a 45 angle. Place the bottom of the test tube against the white area of the guide and, looking down through the tube, match sample colour to a colour standard.
Sufficient for 20 tests.

Please note that the presence of Chlorine or Bromine in your water will negate the test results. Use this test before you add any sanitiser.
