What is Spa Lite?

SpaGuard Spa Lite is a powerful shock, or oxidizer.  It is specially formulated to oxidise and clarify your hot tub water, destroying non-filterable wastes and creating sparking water.

Bathers can enter tub only 15 minutes after application.

What is Shocking or Oxidisation?

Oxidisation is the process of "burning-out" the rather unpleasant organic waste, body oils and fats that the filter cannot remove, and breaking down the oxide barrier on chemical bi-products in your water. Because it removes the non-filterable suspended matter, it restore sparkling water. At the same time it eliminates any unpleasant odours and destroys chloramines (a bi-product of both chlorine and bromine disinfection systems), so removing any risk of stinging eyes.

Oxidisation is a critical component of effective hot tub water care and shock oxidisation products should be used with all disinfection systems.

Directions for Use:

One sachet of Spa Lite treats up to 1500 litres of water. With the pump(s) running, sprinkle the entire contents of the sachet into the spa, from a level close to the water surface.  Before sprinkling check that the granules will not be blown back towards you by the wind. Bathing may recommence after 15 minutes.   Always remove the cover and run the filter for at least an hour after application.

Use once a week and on re-filling your hot tub after a water change.
